My first experience with the We-Vibe Vector+
I must admit in all honesty that I’d never used a sex toy before and that I even thought I might be too ‘traditional’ for that sort of thing. For me, masturbation was more of a ‘little bedtime treat’ that you got out of the way quickly. Over the last few months, I’ve got a bit lost in some rather spicy novels (yes, the Game Changer series – don’t judge me) where people experimented with sex toys, and that piqued my curiosity.
From hesitation to curiosity
For days, even weeks, I didn’t dare try the Vector, because I didn’t know what to expect, then one morning, on a whim, just after waking up, the urge took hold of me. Sunlight was filtering through the closed shutters in small amounts into my bedroom – almost like in an old-school film set on a hot summer’s day – so I unpacked the Vector and tried it on my fingers first. I went through the different vibration settings and knew straight away that I wouldn’t go any further than the first setting. All the others (and there are so many!!!) seemed so extreme. What if it hurt? What if it was too much for me? Anyway, I started by stroking myself (and penetrating myself) to get in the mood, and when I was ready, I inserted the Vector. I was surprised at how quickly and easily it slid inside me, and how perfectly everything seemed to fit. After inserting and removing it several times, I was ready for the vibration.
My impressions of the We-Vibe Vector+
As soon as I pressed the power button, a surprising sensation, the sort of ‘WTF’ feeling, new, strange, overwhelming, exciting, warm and pleasant—overwhelmed me, and I felt so much desire and pleasure. What had seemed like a very strong vibration in my hand turned out to be very gentle and pleasant once inside me. So I tried the other settings and I can say with surprise and conviction that the highest setting was a real highlight for me. The different settings are even more exciting, especially the pulsation function, which is slightly reminiscent of rhythmic thrusts. At the end of my session, I realised with a smile that I’m probably not as ‘vanilla’ as I thought, because I have a desire for more inside me, which I’d very much like to satisfy.
Who is the We-Vibe Vector+ for?
I tried the We-Vibe Vector+ on my own and, as a sex toy novice (well, not anymore), I can attest that this toy is very suitable for beginners. It’s extremely easy to use and makes an excellent addition to the classic masturbation experience. I can imagine, however, that this toy is even more enjoyable to use with a partner (or two, or three, whatever suits you). Firstly, to prepare someone for anal sex, as the toy isn’t too big and slides into the body easily. Secondly, you can certainly get very creative with the remote control – I haven’t tried that myself. In terms of price, I find the We-Vibe Vector+ to be at the higher end of the market, but I have nothing to compare it with, so I can’t say much more on the subject. It’s certainly a worthwhile investment, though, as the Vector is very easy to clean, very simple to recharge, and its numerous vibration settings are sure to satisfy everyone.
